Individual Membership 

 

• Pastors, church staff members, and congregational members are all eligible for an AmeriPlan membership. Individual memberships include everyone in that person's household at no extra charge.

• There is no waiting period before you can start using the Dental Plus program. And, there are instant savings, no paperwork to fill out, and no limits on visits to your providers.  Please allow 3 business days after the activation of your MED Plus membership to begin using the Hospital Advocacy program.

• Since AmeriPlan is not insurance or a health organization, all ongoing medical/dental problems (conditions) are accepted except for orthodontic treatment in progress.

• Members can save 20% - 65% on all restorative and cosmetic work (fillings, crowns, braces, etc.) and up to 80% on preventative work (teeth cleaning, x-rays, etc.) performed by a general dentist. Specialist fees are discounted up to 25%.  Save at more than 56,000 Pharmacy Locations.

 

Group Membership

 

• A group membership plan can be started with as few as three members. Christian school teachers, church staff, and pastoral staff can all count toward the minimum of three. There is no maximum number of group members.

• The advantages of group memberships include a single payment for all members (easier for the church bookkeeper), membership can be as a paid benefit by the church (employer) or voluntary benefit (paid from individual staff member’s salary).

• Dental Plus memberships include entire households. For example, if a Christian school teacher has a group membership, everyone is his/her household is included in the discount benefits.

• Med Plus Members have 24/7 Access to Telemedicine that provides contact with board-certified doctors via phone or video.

AmeriPlan® PROGRAMS ARE NOT INSURANCE!

 

The discount medical plans of AmeriPlan® offer a reduction in the cost of medical, dental, vision, pharmaceutical and chiropractic services. AmeriPlan® discount benefit programs are not insurance, nor are they an alternative to or substitution for insurance coverage. Since they are not health insurance, members must use AmeriPlan® providers and members are responsible for payment to the AmeriPlan® providers at point of service of discount healthcare fees incurred. If you currently have insurance, you should be aware that canceling that policy may make it difficult to later obtain coverage. AmeriPlan® recommends that you speak to your insurance agent or your company's insurance administrator before canceling any health insurance policy for any reason.

The range of discounts for medical or ancillary services provided under this plan will vary depending on the type of provider and medical or ancillary service received.
